Corey has held leadership roles across wealth management, fintech, and venture capital. Before founding Clearwave, he served as Vice President of Corporate Development at BBVA, a global bank, where he led strategic investments, partnerships, and initiatives with high-growth technology companies. He also held business development and investing roles at Secfi, a venture-backed fintech startup, and was an early-stage venture investor with Strawberry Creek Ventures.
Earlier in his career, Corey spent nearly a decade as Vice President at Bernstein Private Wealth Management, advising high-net-worth families and institutions on comprehensive wealth strategies. He began his career at Yardi Systems, a real estate-focused fintech firm.

Corey holds an MBA from the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley and a BA in Business Economics & Accounting from UC Santa Barbara, where he also minored in Sports Management.
